Adoption
During the adoption process, Hope Highway makes every effort to match the right Dog to the right individual or family.
- In most cases the dog will be evaluated by one of our qualified foster parents – for a few days to a few weeks.
- Mental Health – does it play well with other dogs and cats.
- House Broken
- Leash Adapted
- Health Checkup which can include spay or neuter as needed.
We also require a complete application from potential Dog Owners to determine if their circumstances allow for a long term happy home for both the owners and the dog.
An Adoption Fee is required at time of adoption. All adult dogs (6 months or older) will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
